Melisa is the Project Manager for ERASE, Inc. She joined ERASE after serving in the military for nearly 21 years. While serving in the CT Air National Guard she worked for CT Counterdrug Operations for 13 years.
Her work as a Prevention Specialist for Counterdrug Operations included assignments with CT Department of Mental Health and Addictions Services (DMHAS) Prevention Unit where she contributed to the success of their Strategic Prevention Framework Grant, managed contractual services for the Local Prevention Councils and other numerous providers. She trained prevention providers on data collection systems. In addition to her DMHAS assignment, she also implemented a statewide evidenced-based prevention program to over 2,500 youth. Her success within the prevention field and her ability to build relationships with community coalitions and schools resulted in CT Counterdrug program recognized as one of the top prevention programs within the National Counterdrug Program.
Melisa brings a great deal of experience in capacity building, planning, implementation and grant writing to ERASE. She has been successful in helping ERASE receive several grants and continues to find new ways to bring more resources to our communities.
