Melisa Luginbuhl Executive Director
Melisa served as a Prevention Specialist for the Connecticut National Guard Counterdrug Program prior to joining ERASE in 2012. She has been working on state and local prevention initiatives for the past 13 years. Melisa was also the Human Resources Diversity Advisor for the Connecticut Air National Guard before retiring from the military after 21 years of service. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Human Services.

Haley Shoop Prevention Coordinator
Prior to joining ERASE Inc., Haley was a full time student at Manchester Community College where she will earn her Associate degree in Drug and Alcohol Recovery Counseling. Haley is a member of Manchester Community College Drug and Alcohol Recovery Club and of the National Association of Social Workers. In the spring of 2014 Haley will attend Central Connecticut State University with a major in social work.

Sarah M. Sanborn, Ph.D.  Research Analyst
Sarah joined ERASE as Prevention Coordinator in 2004, and has served in the role of ERASE’s Research Analyst since 2007. Most of her work at ERASE is focused on data analysis and writing survey report summaries of data obtained from the ERASE student alcohol and drug surveys administered throughout the Region. Sarah has a Master’s Degree and a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology at University of Connecticut.

Bonnie W. Smith Evaluator Consultant
Bonnie W. Smith has over 15 years experience in substance abuse prevention including coalition capacity building and public health program evaluation. In 2005 she completed her Master of Public Health at the University of Connecticut, with a focus on the use of SAMHSA’s Strategic Prevention Framework in Connecticut’s Prevention Infrastructure. She is a charter recipient for the National Certification in Public Health (2008). She has presented at a number of professional conferences including but not limited to National Problem Gambling, 2002; Office on Women's Health Region 1, Annual Conference 2011, Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA), 2012, National Prevention Network, 2014.
